Saxophonist: Clarence Clemons Has Died

clarence-clemons-recovering__opt1.jpg
We have very sad news.
Saxophonist Clarence Clemons has died at the age of 69.
The E Street Band member who Bruce Springsteen called his "beloved comrade," had suffered from a massive stroke on June 12 and had been hospitalized. He passed away on Saturday.
While his condition seemed to be improving after being hospitalized and two subsequent brain surgeries, he unfortunately took a turn for the worse later this week.
Known as the Big Man by fans and friends, he performed on such hits as Born to RunThunder RoadJungleland, and Dancing in the Dark.
Bruce once said of Clarence:
"The story I have told throughout my work life I could not have told as well without Clarence."
He will be greatly missed. His family, friends, and band mates will be in our thoughts and prayers.
